Notable Quotes

  • What I feel are the most compelling use case scenario for these tools, which are ads, Facebook ad headline, Facebook, ad primary text, you want to have some variations of different ad copy, will, this can actually shoot out a lot of different variations very, very quickly,
  • I recommend and I enjoy the fact that there are multiple outputs for this. But you get a sense that with some correction, we can actually leverage this and it sort of spices up our language.
  • I think the best content is content that triggers on people's emotions, that has your own unique perspective that has more of a human element to it.
  • But anyway, I just wanted to plant a seed in your head that, whether it's email copy, whether it's blog post or ad copy, I don't think that these tools are going to replace human beings. But I do believe that as a helper, to help you do research, help you make sure you're covering your bases in terms of content, because if the AI can find content that they think you should include in your blog post that you're not including, then maybe you don't have all your bases covered, right?
  • I think now is the time to start embracing these tools not to replace human beings. But as helpers, to help you make better content in less time.
  • And writing is an art. And I would never publish anything without running it by human editors, or my own human eyes and making my own human corrections. But I do believe when you're just your creativity, well is running dry, when you have nothing to say, using one of these tools is going to give you a lot to say.
  • I think if you are a marketer, you owe it to yourself to really try to start leveraging one of these tools.

Neal Schaffer:

Artificial Intelligence and content marketing? How far can an AI tool help us create content? That sounds like it was written by human? Well, you're going to find out exactly with a little bit of an experiment using One such tool. So stay tuned for this next episode of The your digital marketing coach podcast. Digital social media content influencer marketing, blogging, podcasting, blogging, tick tocking, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, SEO, SEM, PPC, email marketing, who there's a lot to cover, whether you're a marketing professional entrepreneur, or business owner, you need someone you can rely on for expert advice. Good thing you've got, Neil, on your side, because Neal Schaffer is your digital digital marketing marketing coach, helping you grow your business with digital first marketing one episode at a time. This is your digital marketing coach. And this is Neal Schaffer. Hey, everybody, this is Neal Schaffer, and welcome to my podcast, your digital marketing coach. So there's always been talk about artificial intelligence, how it's going to take away our jobs, how it's evil, it's robotic. And as marketers, we've actually been leveraging AI more and more, without us knowing it. There is more and more AI that's being used. For instance, in analytics tools. One analytics tool that I recently used for a client, called Social insider was actually using AI based on data that they already had, and predicting impressions and reach for any Instagram account over the course of a period of time. For those of you that read the age of influence, you'll know the last chapter of that book was all about how influencer marketing can leverage AI for the benefit of influencer marketing to predict how fans or followers of a particular influencer would resonate when they publish content about a particular subject. And in fact, that free ebook, from which that final chapter of the age of influences repurposed from can be downloaded on my website, I will leave the link in the show notes. But more recently, Visa V AI, there has been a lot of buzz about AI and content marketing. Now, I've already talked before of introduced. For those of you in my digital first mastermind, you've already heard me talk a lot about it, I need to create my first YouTube video about it. But it's a tool called phrase frsc. I also had the VP of Marketing featured on this podcast not too long ago. In fact, it was episode number 218, how to go from content ideas to SEO results faster and easier. So you'll have to give that one a listen, if you want to find out more of what we talked about. But it was really leveraging AI to improve the search engine optimization of our content is really what we talked about there. And I've become a fond user a phrase use it for every piece of content that I publish on my website currently. But now and phrases an example of one of these tools that I found out about because they did a lifetime deal on AppSumo. I'll put that in the show notes as well. But AppSumo is one of these sites, hopefully you're nodding, because you have the ability to catch a lot of very, very early stage technology at a very, very low cost. So that was my experience with phrase since then. I've gotten pitched by a number of these AI content marketing tools that go above and beyond what phrase does. phrase is basically just optimizing content for SEO. What these tools do is actually create content for you. And it was really a conversation I had most recently with Karen Rogers, who is the co host of the digital marketing podcast, which hopefully some of you have heard of before, maybe you've listened to. I've been interviewed on his podcast before. Karen's also a member of my digital first mastermind for which I'm thankful. And we were talking about the various technology. And he said, Neil, there's one tool that if you are in doubt, you really need to try out. And that's the two I'm going to discuss. I'm not going to mention the name of it until the very end. And there is sort of a special offer that goes you know, together with it when once you get to the very end of this podcast episode. That's not my objective of sharing this with you. My objective is I want to get your reaction as to how far these tools have come. So first of all, I am In the Dashboard, and like I said, we're going to, I'm going to do this in real time. I'm not going to prepare this in advance, but I've already been playing around with it. And I just want to show you what the potential is when leveraging a tool like this. So just going into the templates that this tool has, there are a number of very, very specific templates for a number of very, very specific things. So for instance, the ADA framework, attention, interest, desire action, of being able to create content around that framework, being able to create content around a problem agitate solution, framework, product description, blog posts, topic ideas, blog posts, outline, creative story, explain it to a child, you know what, let's, let's play around with this one, this is one of the key and introduce them into as well. Let's just say I'm going to type something that's going to be a little bit complex, like trying to ascertain a better method to solve life's most darkest mysteries. So trying to ascertain a better method to solve life's most darkest mysteries, we can actually choose the output grade level, let's choose a fifth grade level, and I enter or I press the key, and literally five, okay, it already gave me three different options. Now this tool gives you the ability to choose how many options you want, you can output different languages have done actually English to Japanese, you can use American English, British English. So instead of trying to ascertain a better method and solve life's most darkest mysteries, it has corrected this into, I am looking for a better way to solve life's mysteries. Makes sense, right? And it did it in just a few seconds. So I don't know when you might use this in your writing. But there you go explain it to a child template. Some of these other templates are what I feel are the most compelling use case scenario for these tools, which are ads, Facebook ad headline, Facebook, ad primary text, you want to have some variations of different ad copy, will, this can actually shoot out a lot of different variations very, very quickly. And it's very, very compelling the results that you get Google Ads headline, Google Ads description, Amazon product features, Amazon product description, and on and on and on Instagram, photo, post captions, video topic, ideas, Video Script, outline, these are for YouTube, etc, etc. So I think were the most compelling way of using this tool is how I've been using it that I want to share with you is that you get a feel as to what is possible, there is something called a content improver tool, or I should say template. So what I'm going to do is, I'm going to go into my queue for sharing social media posts on Twitter. Now, I'm not very creative with the way that I share these posts. For the most part, it's cute using just the title of the blog post to share it on Twitter. But I want to do something more to it. So I'm going to take just a post here, the top 23 content curation tools to use in 2022, I'm literally just going to copy and paste this into the tool, I can select the tone of voice, which I'm going to leave as professional. And I'm gonna leave it at English American, and I'm gonna have it have three outputs, I'm going to press generate AI content, 543, well, two or three seconds, and this is what I got now, the top 23 content creation tools to use in 2022. I'm going to give you the first result it gave me in the future curation will be a necessity for any business or organization looking to reach their rd audience. In this article, we take a look at some of content creations top tools, and discuss why you should invest in them today. Exclamation point, that's pretty freakin compelling. You asked me and some of these go even deeper. Now, not all of these make a lot of sense. And that's why I recommend and I enjoy the fact that there are multiple outputs for this. But you get a sense that with some correction, we can actually leverage this and it sort of spices up our language. So let's find a different one here. Okay, here's 115 best social listening tools for business. So we're going to put this one in, and I'm going to count to 12345. Okay, this one took five seconds. So 15 best social listening tools for business, we only had seven words. Here's the shortest one that output. The best social listening tools for businesses help you to stay on top of what's going on in your industry across all channels. You can also use them as a way to measure how successful campaigns are being perceived by customers and see which ones might need some tweaks before moving forward with them. Pretty cool, huh? Here's another one. These days it's not enough to simply be assertive. stressful business, you also need the right tools for success. Fortunately, there are some really great social listening applications out on the market right now, that can help take your company's marketing efforts up another notch or three, in no time at all, hyphen without breaking too many sweat points along this journey either. Okay, maybe slightly unnatural, but still pretty compelling. Especially if you're looking for ideas, you have a title of a post, you want to share it in social media, you just don't know how you want to describe it. Well, using this, and I want to call it a content helper is going to give you a lot of ideas. Now, where this really became interesting, and this is an example of just taking a few words, and creating a sentence or two out of it for social media posting. What was really interesting was when I use this for a blog post, so imagine if you are creating a blog post, and you have an introduction, and then you have some headers, and then you have an outro, or a conclusion. So this tool has the ability, I mentioned, the different templates, it has a introduction blog post template, let's go back and find the exact one. It's called Blog Post intro paragraph. So for this, what I did was the title and I have yet to publish this blog post, I do have a human editor that's going to go through this, obviously, but a beginner's guide on how to do SEO. Right. This is what the tool created. If you're new to SEO, or just want a refresher on the basics, this guide is for you will cover everything for how to do keyword research to optimize your content link building. By following these simple tips, you can start seeing improvements in your website's search engine rankings, and gain more authority for your website. So let's get started. I was really blown away. And in fact, this is how I started using this tool was creating these short paragraphs. Now, I also recommend you use a tool called Copyscape. And Copyscape allows you to see if there's duplicate content that's published about this in the internet, while there wasn't, in fact, the tool themselves say that 99.99% is Copyscape free, it is not duplicate content, it is not smart. But it also says you need to be a fact checker. Right? I'd say that this introductory paragraph really nailed it. Now. Just another paragraph. This is the example of the intro there's also the conclusion paragraph. This is once again, a different template. SEO can be a complex field to understand, but that's why I'm here to help. In this guide. I've explained the basics of SEO and how you can use it to increase traffic to your website. If you have any questions about SEO or this guide, please leave them in the comments below. And I will do my best to answer them. Thanks for reading. Now, when you do an outro paragraph, it does ask you for a call to action. And my call to action was to say hey, if you have any questions, leave them in the comments below. But still, it gave a pretty compelling outro paragraph. I'm just gonna read one more here. And this is using the paragraph template and I just want to make sure I got the exact name right here. But yes, paragraph generator, create paragraphs that will captivate your readers is what it says it's going to read this to you. Okay, this is what is SEO 100% generated in five seconds. And let's see how many words this is. I don't know maybe about 150 word paragraph. Most have heard of SEO, but some are still unsure of what it actually entails. Simply put SEO is the process of improving the visibility and ranking of a website in search engine result pages, parentheses SERPs, this can be achieved through optimizing the website content, comma, structure, comma and code comma, as well as building high quality links to the site period. SEO is a complex and even an ever evolving field. But by following best practices, businesses can ensure that their site is properly optimized and stands out from the competition with the help of an experienced SEO consultant or agency. Businesses can boost their online visibility, drive more traffic to their site, and ultimately generate more leads and sales. That is pretty incredible. Now, you might think, well, it just sounds there's no emotion in it. It's almost like Wikipedia, it's just, it almost sounds too professional. And I'd say you're right. And I think the best content is content that triggers on people's emotions, that has your own unique perspective that has more of a human element to it. And that's why I am working on editing all this and obviously making it more human where I can. But you can see for research based nonfiction content, this can become quite helpful and I would argue quite a timesaver. So I'm going to go back in here and into the tool and for what is SEO, instead of saying professional for the tone of voice. I'm going to say Jerry Seinfeld, Jerry Seinfeld, for those of you that don't know is a famous comedian, one of my favorite shows of all time. You have the ability to enter anything to Tony to voice and that's going to give you something very, very different. Some of the examples it says witty, friendly, angry, polite professional, I was using professional. Let's see if it picks up on Jerry Seinfeld. So I pressed Enter. It's been 2345. Okay, now it's taking a little bit longer. There we go. Let's see what we get here. What is SEO? Well, let's start with what it stands for Search Engine Optimization. And what does that mean? In a nutshell, it means making sure your website is as visible as possible to search engines like Google. That means using the right keywords, having efficient coding and providing quality content, just to name a few things. Okay. The first two don't sound that much different. The third one is more Seinfeld ask. Hi, what is SEO? I mean, seriously, what is SEO? Is it a word an acronym, a website, a buzzword? Nobody seems to know, even Google doesn't seem to know what SEO is. I've been asking around. And the only thing anyone can tell me is that it has something to do with keywords. But what are keywords? And how to use them? I'm just so confused. Somebody, please help me understand what SEO is. Okay, that's a little bit more Seinfeld ask. I'm gonna enter a different one now, which is Donald Trump, Donald Trump, our former president United States has ways of saying it's huge, and a very distinct way of talking, and let's see if it'll grab Donald Trump's tone of voice and create content that is worthy of the ex president. Okay, there's a little bit of humor in here. But what is SEO, let's go for what is SEO, it's the process of optimizing your website for Google search, the better optimize your site is, the higher it will rank in the search results. And the higher it ranks, the more traffic will get. SEO is important, because it can help you get more traffic from Google. And more traffic means more customers and more sales. So if you want to get more traffic and more sales, you need to do SEO. And that's what I'm here to help you with. I'm Donald Trump, and I'm the best SEO consultant in the world, I can help you optimize your site for Google and get more traffic and more sales. So what are you waiting for? Contact me today. And let's get started. Okay, very, very interesting way of putting it, I'm going to do a very, very distinct tone of voice, I'm going to do a childish tone of voice now, just to try to get something very, very different to show you how human the results can be. So that it triggers more emotion, and it ends up actually being more effective content. Okay. I'll read the first one. SEO is short for search engine optimization. It's a long and complicated word, but it means a simple, making sure your website appears as high up as possible in search engine result pages, or SERPs. Okay. Well, I don't know how child is that was, let's do humorous. Let's do funny as the tone of voice. And this is going to be my last one. But I just want to give you a feel for how powerful these tools can be, especially if you have your own unique tone of voice or you play around with this. Okay. What is SEO? That's a question that's been asked since the dawn of search engines. And like most things in the online world, the answer is ever evolving. SEO stands for search engine optimization, yada, yada, yada. I actually like that initial paragraph a lot. There's also a paragraph that says, What is SEO question mark? What is SEO question mark? What is SEO? Question Mark, I didn't find that to be too funny. But anyway, I just wanted to plant a seed in your head that, whether it's email copy, whether it's blog post or ad copy, I don't think that these tools are going to replace human beings. But I do believe that as a helper, to help you do research, help you make sure you're covering your bases in terms of content, because if the AI can find content that they think you should include in your blog post that you're not including, then maybe you don't have all your bases covered, right? ideation, giving you multiple ways of saying the same thing, changing tone, I think we get the picture, that I think now is the time to start embracing these tools not to replace human beings. But as helpers, to help you make better content in less time. Makes sense. I'm not an anti human person. And writing is an art. And I would never publish anything without running it by human editors, or my own human eyes and making my own human corrections. But I do believe when you're just your creativity, well is running dry, when you have nothing to say, using one of these tools is going to give you a lot to say. So this is a tool that Kiran introduced to me. It's called Jasper, you can go to jasper.ai. Or you can go to Neal schaffer.com/jasper, which is my link. It's not even really an affiliate link. It's a referral link for customers. Meaning that if you sign up for it, you get 10,000 extra words, and I get 10,000 extra words. It's sort of a win win for both of us. So that's Neil shaffer.com/jasper J S P er. I've only started using this for a few days, but it's so compelling that I wanted to share it with you. And I've been blown away as well by joining their Facebook community. And I'm going to jump into right now there are people that have written non fiction books, just using this tool. I don't know how successful they've been selling these books. But this community now has 56,400 members. So this is not a well kept secret anymore. A lot of people are doing it. There's a lot of brands that are using Jasper, if you go to their their front page if you're not one of their customers. Some of the Logos they have appear include Airbnb, Google, Autodesk, HarperCollins, Logitech, Keller, Williams, the realtor company, and even one of the most AI savvy companies, the founders of IBM Watson, IBM, or I should say Watson AI, IBM. So there you have it. I think if you are a marketer, you owe it to yourself to really try to start leveraging one of these tools. And once again, it was Kieran who said he had tried out a lot of these tools. And this one just seemed to be the most human by far compared to the others, you might have better results with other tools. And I think if you do a search on Google, for, you know, AI content creation tools, there's a number of them out there. So don't be limited by one. But if there's one experiment I want you to do this week, one new type of tool I want you to try out this week. This is it.
